"Central Avenue was the obvious choice. They were timely and excellent during the planning stages and we had full confidence in their logistics to do an abroad performance given their extensive experience in international gigs. We went for the 7-Piece with Trumpet, Sax and Pro DJ in the end. They were able to deliver at every point of the day from the ceremonial entrance music to drinks reception, dinner entrances and finally the party afterwards. Our dancefloor never came close to being anything but at full capacity. Honestly the clips don’t do them justice, the live performance was so much better than expected and our expectations were already very high! They ensured our wedding finished in the ultimate party - ourselves and the guests had such a good time. A Night to Remember with The Central Avenue Band!
We hired Central Avenue Band for our Chemogiftbags Black Tie Gala Event and what an incredible choice that turned out to be!
From the start, Harry was absolutely brilliant to work with. He accommodated all our requests for Chemogiftbags, and when I chose the tunes for our guests to enter and depart at the end of the night, he made sure they were played perfectly. The professionalism and attention to detail made all the difference.
The 10-piece band were simply fantastic! The sax player was outstanding – and as someone who loves the saxophone, hearing it played so beautifully was a real highlight for me. From the moment they started singing, the dance floor was packed and stayed that way right until the end of the night. The energy was electric!
We left the song choices entirely in their capable hands, just giving them the general category we wanted, and we needn't have worried for a second. Everything went smoothly, and they read the room perfectly. With guests of all ages attending, it could have been tricky to please everyone, but I didn't hear a single complaint – quite the opposite! Everyone raved about how fantastic they were.
We would absolutely use Central Avenue Band again, even for smaller functions (though it might be a while before we do another gala!). You don't always get the icing on the cake, but that's exactly what we got – not just a band, but THE Central Avenue Band. They made our event truly special
