In October 2024, our band had the incredible honour of performing for the Malaysian Royal Family, an experience that exceeded all expectations. After a long but thrilling 13-hour flight to Southeast Asia, we arrived on the stunning island of Langkawi, ready to bring our music to a breathtaking paradise. Our lineup, featuring two talented Female Singers and a skilled Saxophonist, perfectly set the stage for an unforgettable performance crafted for the Princess of Malaysia - Myra Tunku - and her wonderful family.

We kicked off the event with a vibrant mix of classic live party tunes that had everyone on their feet, creating an electrifying atmosphere. The highlight was our DJ & Saxophone Package, which we performed the following day during a lively beach party that encapsulated the joy of the moment. The warm hospitality we received and the enthusiastic response from the audience truly made our trip special. To top it all off, Princess Myra shared a fantastic 5-star review on behalf of everyone present at the event, expressing their enjoyment and appreciation. Our time in Malaysia was nothing short of magical, and we look forward to returning to this beautiful country for more unforgettable experiences in the future!

In September 2024, we had the incredible credit of performing at Ben and Imogen's Wedding in breathtaking Chamonix, France. Nestled in the stunning Alps, the backdrop provided an unforgettable setting for their special day. Our 7-piece band, featuring a talented Female Vocalist and a dynamic Brass Section, set the tone for an evening filled with joy and celebration. As the sun set behind the majestic peaks, we transported guests through an array of classic party tunes, ensuring that the dance floor was never empty. The energy was electric, and it was evident that everyone was fully engaged in the festivities.

Our musical journey began high up the mountain during the Wedding Ceremony, where we played our Solo Piano package, creating a romantic ambiance for Ben and Imogen's vows against the stunning alpine scenery. Following the Ceremony, we transitioned to our Acoustic Duo for the cocktail hour, delighting guests with soft melodies that complemented the stunning views and cheerful conversations. As the evening unfolded, we revelled in the magic created by this wonderful couple and their loved ones. It was a fabulous evening, and we are so grateful to have been part of Ben and Imogen's extraordinary Wedding Day in such a magnificent setting. The memories made in Chamonix will surely resonate for years to come!

In June 2023, we had the pleasure of performing for Siobhan and Tom's enchanting destination wedding in the beautiful city of Seville, Spain. Our talented 5-Piece Band, which is our most popular package, brought vibrant energy to the celebration. As the evening unfolded, the atmosphere transformed into a lively party with guests filling the dancefloor, dancing to our lively tunes and creating unforgettable memories. The blend of captivating music and the stunning backdrop of Seville made for an extraordinary night, and we truly cherished the opportunity to celebrate with the couple and their families in such a picturesque setting.

We were lucky enough to have some free time the day before the wedding, where we explored Seville and enjoyed some welcome drinks with Siobhan and Tom and their guests.

This our very first international adventure for Central Avenue Band – a very special one for us!

In September 2021, we packed our bags and headed over to the Dordogne region of France. This is a really stunning region of Southwest France, famous for its stunning mountainous scenery, Bergerac wines, strawberries and truffles. 19 villages in the area have been awarded ‘the most beautiful villages in France’.

Kayley and Gemma booked our 5-Piece Band for an exciting 2-day Destination Wedding Event. The band included Bass Guitar, Drums, Keyboards, Saxophone and one of amazing Female Singers. This is our most popular band size for our Destination Wedding Events, as it’s very economical with regards to travel and accommodation costs, but still packs a hard punch of a performance.

We provided a full day of high-quality entertainment on the Wedding Days itself, starting with our fabulous Saxophone Player performing during the Ceremony. ‘Emma Sax’ performed ‘Jubel’ by Klingande, a super popular Sax request. Then we went straight into a 40-minute live band Jazz set as guests enjoyed cocktails and canapes.

We then relocated into the main marquee to get ready and set for our evening live party set. We performed the First Dance Request for Kayley and Gemma, then launched straight into our party set, performing the Disco, Funk & Soul Party Classics everyone loves to dance to. We finished the night with our Pro DJ & Sax service, which went down extremely well with the guests. We stayed on for an extra day and showcased our Pro DJ service for the Pool Party, which was super fun and a great way to round off this incredible Destination Wedding.

We have been lucky enough to perform at Wayne’s Bar in Nice, South of France on two separate occasions. Wayne’s Bar is an extremely popular bar on the French Riviera with Brits and tourists. Rockin’ 7 nights a week, Central Avenue Band have become extremely popular here.

Wayne’s Bar continually book our 4-Piece Band which the stage area is just about big enough for! In July 2023 we performed with Bass, Guitar, Drums and Female Singer; then again in March 2024 the same band except swapping Keyboards for Guitar.

On the second visit we included our Pro DJ service, which runs after the live band until 2am, every night for the full week. This went down so well – with fans and punters able to requests their favourite songs throughout the night – including party and club classics.

We absolutely love it at Wayne’s Bar in Nice. We’re booked to return in September 2024 and again for 3 weeks in 2025.

Our day aboard the yacht in Monaco was truly unforgettable. We revelled in the luxurious experience as we glided through the glistening Mediterranean waters, the sun warming our skin while creating sparkles on the waves. The stunning backdrop of the coastline combined with the gentle lull of the sea made for a perfect afternoon. We explored the beautiful surroundings off the coast of Monte-Carlo, enjoyed exquisite refreshments, and embraced the idyllic atmosphere, creating memories that will last a lifetime. The opportunity to indulge in such opulence on the open water was a delightful highlight of our trip.
